These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gradia Ltd ("Gradia", "we", "us"). By registering for a Gradia account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
By creating a Gradia account, downloading the Gradia app, or using the gradia.co.uk website, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Gradia.
To use Gradia you must:
By using Gradia, you confirm you meet all eligibility requirements. We may verify your student status at any time and may suspend or close accounts that do not meet our eligibility criteria. Where you are aged 16 or 17, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian is aware of and consents to your use of Gradia.
"Security is a shared responsibility. We protect the platform; you protect your credentials."
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account with anyone else, and you must not create multiple Gradia accounts. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, notify us immediately at support@gradia.co.uk.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, including your name, university, course, and year of study, and keep this information up to date. We may suspend your account if we have reason to believe information you have provided is false or misleading.
Gradia provides a student rewards platform that allows verified UK students to access brand offers, earn points through optional in-app activity, and be entered into Monthly Tier Rewards selections. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, giving reasonable notice where practicable.
We do not guarantee the availability or continued participation of any specific brand partner. Offers may be added, modified, or removed at any time. Gradia is a platform that surfaces and aggregates brand offers - we are not the merchant for those offers.
When you redeem a brand partner offer through Gradia, your contract is with the brand partner, not with Gradia. The brand partner is responsible for fulfilling the offer, including the supply of goods or services, returns, refunds, customer service, and compliance with consumer law.
Gradia is not responsible for:
If you experience a problem with a brand partner offer, please contact the brand partner directly in the first instance. If you are unable to resolve the issue, contact us at support@gradia.co.uk and we will use reasonable efforts to assist, although we cannot guarantee a particular outcome.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you have against Gradia or any brand partner under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer protection law.
Some partner offers are used online rather than in store. When you claim one, Gradia gives you a discount code to use on the brand partner's own website. Because no till and no affiliate network is involved, the value of that order is established afterwards, as follows.
Your report. After you have made the purchase, you tell us the order total before the discount was applied, together with the order reference and the date of purchase. Until the partner has reviewed it, that figure is a claim and not a confirmed amount.
The partner's review. We share those order details with the brand partner, who has a review window of seven days from your submission to confirm the amount, adjust it to match their own records, or dispute the order. If the partner does not respond within that window, your reported amount is automatically confirmed as submitted.
What follows from the confirmed amount. Your points and your recorded savings for the order are calculated from the confirmed amount, not from the amount you originally reported. Where a partner adjusts the figure, the adjusted figure is the one that counts.
Accuracy. Knowingly submitting false, inflated, or misleading order information is a breach of these terms and may lead to the consequences set out in Section 8.
Points. Points have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, cannot be transferred between accounts, cannot be sold, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Points may only be used to enter Monthly Tier Rewards selections within the Gradia app.
Points reset. Points reset to zero at 00:00:00 on the first day of each calendar month. Unused points have no value and are not refundable or transferable.
Points adjustments. We may adjust, correct, or remove points at any time if we have reason to believe they were obtained improperly, in breach of these terms, or in error.
Monthly Tier Rewards. The Gradia Monthly Tier Rewards programme is governed by our separate Monthly Tier Rewards Rules, which form part of these terms. The rules cover eligibility, entry routes (including a free postal entry route), tier thresholds, reward delivery, and winner verification.
No effect of Gradia+ on rewards. Gradia+ subscription does not accelerate point earning. Gradia+ members earn points at the same rate as non-subscribers for the same activity, and Gradia+ does not increase the chance of entering or winning any reward tier.
Disqualification. We reserve the right to disqualify any user from Monthly Tier Rewards if we have reason to believe they have attempted to manipulate or abuse the points system or the reward selection process.
Gradia+ is an optional paid subscription available through the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Subscription terms, pricing, billing, and cancellation are governed by the relevant platform's terms in addition to these terms.
Renewals and cancellation. Gradia+ subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals - you retain access until the end of the paid billing period.
Refunds. Gradia+ subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by applicable law (including your statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) or applicable platform policy.
Changes to Gradia+. We may change Gradia+ features or pricing with reasonable notice. Where a price change applies to your subscription, you will be notified before it takes effect and may cancel before the change applies.
Founding member pricing. Where you have signed up as a founding member at a specific introductory price, that price is locked for as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current price applies.
You must not use Gradia to:
Breach of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of points and any pending reward entries, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
All content on the Gradia platform - including the app, website, the Gradia name, logo, hexagonal "G" mark, graphics, copy, software, and underlying code - is owned by or licensed to Gradia Ltd and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Gradia content without our express written permission.
Brand partner trademarks and logos displayed on the platform are the property of their respective owners and are used with permission.
You have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other consumer protection law that cannot be excluded or limited by these terms. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
If any clause in these terms is found to be unfair or unenforceable under consumer protection law, that clause will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remainder of these terms will continue in effect.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gradia's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these terms or the Gradia service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use Gradia.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of brand partners (see Section 5), payment processors, app stores, or other third parties.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
By you. You may close your account at any time from within the app, or by emailing support@gradia.co.uk. Gradia+ subscribers should cancel their subscription via the App Store or Google Play before closing the account to avoid further charges.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these terms, provided false information, attempted to defraud or manipulate the platform, or engaged in conduct that may harm Gradia, brand partners, or other users.
Effect of termination. On termination, your points balance, any pending Monthly Tier Rewards entries, and access to brand offers will be removed. Any unclaimed reward that you have already won will still be honoured, provided you complete the verification steps in the Monthly Tier Rewards Rules within the required timeframe. Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.
The Gradia app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the relevant app store.
Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligations in relation to the Gradia app or your use of it. Apple is not responsible for the Gradia app, its content, maintenance, support, warranty claims, or product liability. In the event of any conflict between these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the Apple terms will prevail to the extent of the conflict only as relates to your use of the app via the App Store.
Google Play. Your download and use of the Gradia app from Google Play is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@gradia.co.uk in the first instance. We will acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to provide a substantive response within 28 calendar days. We will make every effort to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Gradia after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
